The city of Grinnell purchased a new street sweeper in 2020. It arrived in September. The driver sits in the front in the middle rather than up high and to the side as in the old sweeper. Public Service Department employees find it cleans the streets very well and is easy to operate. The sweeper replaced the old sweeper that was ten years old. Look for it to be in use again in the spring.
