On Thursday, June 11th at 5:30 p.m. the city will hold a preliminary design planning session for the reconstruction of Iowa Highway 146 from 6th Avenue to 11th Avenue. The meeting will take place in the Community Center – Council Chambers. The purpose of the meeting will be to present the concept to the public. This is intended to be a working meeting and not a presentation. We will discuss:

• Project schedule.
• Project budget.
• Project scope.
• Project challenges.
• Project outcome.
• Detours and property access.

We will also be discussing the specifics of the project including roadway design, underground infrastructure, sidewalks, trees and landscaping, signs, and related items
