The Grinnell Police Department is now accepting applications for the Spring 2018 Citizen's Police Academy. This eight week program is designed primarily for the community to better understand how their Police Department functions. The attendees learn many facets of law enforcement duties, from basic patrol to firearms to criminal investigations.

Classes will meet every Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Classes begin on March 20, 2018 and will run through May 8, 2018. Applications are available at the Grinnell Police Department (1020 Spring Street) or online. For more information, call 641-236-2670, ext. 3216 or 3211.
