City crews will be picking up downed limbs from city-owned trees throughout the week of July 2nd. Limbs and debris from privately-owned trees should be transported to the city's brush and compost facility where fees for city residents will be waived beginning June 30th through July 7th.
Trees in the right-of-way are considered to be city-owned trees. The right-of-way is typically the area between the street and the public sidewalk. Trees on the house side of the sidewalk are the responsibility of the homeowner.
The brush and compost site will open on the holiday, July 4th, from 2pm to 5pm.
