As we are in the lawn care season the Public Service Department reminds Grinnell residents it is unlawful to place any grass clippings, leaves, vines, brush, or other vegetation in the gutter or street. Depositing of these items in the gutter or on the street can cause storm sewer drainage problems during rain events. 

Please help us keep our storm sewers free of this debris and keep the water flowing to its proper place. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
