The intersection of Highways 6 and 146 will be opened Friday, Aug. 31st late in the afternoon. The intersection will be controlled by four-way stop signs for approximately one month when new traffic signals are scheduled to arrive and be installed.
The Grinnell Police Department reminds drivers of rules governing intersections controlled by four-way stop signs: All drivers must come to a complete stop before entering the intersection. The driver that arrives first at the intersection has the right of way. If two drivers arrive at the same time, the driver on the right has the right of way.
