The Public Safety Building is having a new phone system installed on Tuesday, April 30th. Based on similar transitions at other facilities, it is estimated that their phones will only be down for approximately ten minutes. This transition WILL NOT have an impact on 911. Parties that are unsuccessful in reaching the Police Department or Fire Department on their non-emergency lines during this downtime can either: call back, email JPhelps@GrinnellPD.Com, or stop by the Public Safety Building at 1020 Spring Street.
