The Grinnell Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public in locating Jonathan Wayne Bailey, age 34, of Grinnell. On November 16, 2019, Iowa's 8th Judicial District Court issued a warrant for the arrest of Mr. Bailey for the following offenses:
- Violation of a No Contact Order (Simple Misdemeanor)
- Harassment 1st Degree (Aggravated Misdemeanor)
- Stalking - Violation of Protective Order (Class 'D' Felony)
Mr. Bailey is described as a white male, approximately 5'8" tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. Mr. Bailey has short dark hair and is known to wear glasses. Mr. Bailey may be operating a 2007 light blue/gray Dodge Charger bearing Iowa Registration INB-962.
If a member of the public has information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Bailey, they should contact the Grinnell Police Department at 641-236-2670 or the United States Marshall's Service at 1-877-WANTED2 (1-877-926-8332). If a member of the public happens to see Mr. Bailey, or the vehicle he is suspected of operating, do not approach but instead contact law enforcement via 911. If Mr. Bailey becomes aware of this media release, we encourage him to turn himself in to the nearest law enforcement agency.
