Picking up small limbs and trash shall be done before spraying by the contractor. The contractor shall notify the Public Service Department @ 641-236-2632 to have any large limbs that need to be picked up.
Care will need to be taken in the preservation of grave markers and seasonal items that are placed at grave sites in the cemetery. City staff will be responsible for the removal of seasonal items twice each year
Monthly bills should be turned in no later than the 25th of each month to assure payment the first part of the following month. City staff will make every effort to communicate special events or rentals of facilities that will need to be considered by the contractor to prevent any conflicts with the spraying schedule. With a thirty day written notice, either the contractor or the city may request termination of agreement for any reason. The City of Grinnell reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
