The Public Services Department provides a variety of services for the community. Those services include:

  • Maintenance of all city parks and other city owned properties
  • Cemetery grounds maintenance, lot sales, and burials. 
  • Curb-side pick up of solid waste and recyclables along with a drop off center for recyclables located at the Public Service building at 1411 1st Avenue.
  • Street maintenance which includes but is not limited to street signs, street cleaning, snow removal, street patching, line striping, hanging of banners and holiday decorations, and watering of flowers downtown.
