Students must be able to demonstrate all level 1 skills prior to registration of this class. The objective of Level 2: Students are taught treading water, rolling front to back and back to front.

Grinnell Mutual Family Aquatic Center Outdoor Swimming Lessons

• The Level 1 and Level 2 swimming lessons are only 30 minutes in length.
  
• Students taking swimming lessons must be potty trained.
• No sibling or guardians may assist children during swimming lessons. If your child has apprehensions during class we recommend private swimming lessons. You can inquire at the Aquatic Center or Recreation Department.
• If you are unsure what level your child is ready for, just ask us at the time of registration.
