Both lanes of Main Street will be temporarily closed in front of 1020 Main Street on Tuesday, March 17 to accommodate a crane needed to set the final roof trusses for the future Emera building.

The closure will affect only the portion of the street directly in front of the construction site. Access to surrounding businesses will remain open. Drivers are asked to use caution in the area.

Once complete, the Emera building will feature four stories with a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments, along with commercial space on the ground floor.
