The water plant is located at at 702 Main Street just north of the water tower. The plant has 4 operators with a Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 12:00 noon and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM schedule. The water department staff is responsible for maintenance and operation of the water plant process operations,
the city water mains prior to any and all service connections, and the 5 city wells along with their respective transmission lines. Our goal is to ensure the highest quality of water and an adequate supply for drinking as well as fire protection.
