To address the potential for lead in drinking water, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has required that all water systems in the U.S. create and maintain an inventory of water service lines and their materials. You can help the City of Grinnell's Water Department by taking this quick survey about your water service lines. An accurate inventory will allow us to focus our resources efficiently.
Find your water service line by finding your water meter (likely in your basement) and look at the pipe that comes through your wall, floor, or foundation.
