The Grinnell Recreation Department will be offering Summer Swim Lessons at the Grinnell Mutual Family Aquatic Center for preschool and levels 1-6. No parent/guardian may assist during lessons. Once lessons are available for registration, you will find them listed online at grinnellrec.activityreg.com or by visiting the Recreation Department at the Grinnell Athletic & Recreation Center (GARC) located at 1500 Penrose St, Grinnell, IA 50112. Private Swimming Lessons

Our qualified lifeguarding staff teaches private lessons throughout the aquatic season. Private lessons are recommended for those that learn best in a one-on-one environment. Sessions will be listed at https://grinnellrec.activityreg.com/ClientPage_t2.wcs under Aquatics as they become available. Children may be as young as age three but must be toilet trained. The levels being taught are dependent upon instructor availability.
