The base monthly fee for residential dwelling units, mixed-use properties, and small commercial businesses not located in the Central Business District for once per week solid waste collection and the recycling center fee shall be as follows:

All waste must be placed at the curb in the carts provided by the City with the lid completely closed.

Waste that will not fit in the cart must be placed in a plastic refuse bag with a $1.30 sticker, and weighs less than sixty (60) pounds. These bags will not be picked up at the curb and must be taken to the public services department and deposited in the appropriately marked container.

All waste must be placed at the curb in a plastic refuse bag that prominently displays the $1.30 sticker and weighs less than 60 pounds.  

Large Items and Special Pick-Ups

All white goods and waste weighing more than 60 pounds will be picked up if the special sticker is attached to the item. The special sticker shall be sold for $16 a piece plus tax. Residential customers may at any time request a special collection which is separate from regular collection. The fee for a special pick up will be determined by the yardage of garbage estimated by the Public Services Department. All other items will be charged at their current fee per item. Any special pick up that requires equipment or additional labor will be charged at the current rental fee rate along with the garbage fee.
